Trackit measures the positions of objects and makes them available in real time.
- You can observe how objects are successfully tracked while measuring them
- Trackit stores only the position data and discards the videos, causing data files to be small. In this way, long-term measurements can be performed using standard equipment. Optionally, videos can be stored for demonstration purposes.
- External hardware are controlled in real time, e.g. feeders in learning paradigms, stimuli, triggering of high speed cameras as shown below, etc.
In this example, Trackit 3D was used to control a VR stimulus (shown as moving sine grating pattern) and a high speed camera to record the resulting speed response of a fruit fly.
